A  new swarm was discovered recently at the ranch and a local beekeeper came to collect them for a new honey box. It was all very interesting…. We use lots of local honey at the B&B in our cooking,  classes and in our own home. Not only is it a natural sweetener but it is also highly antibacterial and medicinal….being used in early pioneer times to heal cuts and wounds to the body among other things!
