Round Top Antique Week

Round Top Antique Week

With 47 years of tradition, the Original Round Top Antique Week offers some of the finest antiques in the Washington County area. When you come to stay with us at Murski Homestead anytime throughout the year, you will have the opportunity to experience one of the four amazing fairs offered. All of the Fair locations are less than 20 minutes away from our charming Inn. There’s nothing like this memorable experience! Here are a few things to know about the Original Round Top Antique Week!

The Fair offers three shows each year. The Spring and Fall Antiques Fairs, located in all four of the fairs venues, and the newer Winter Antiques Show, located in the Big Red Barn. As you step through the door of the Big Red Barn, the Big Red Barn Tent, the Continental Tent, or Carmine Dance Hall, you will experience one of the Best Antique Shows in the nation. Discover an irresistible array of gorgeously displayed early Americana, Texas primitive and Continental furniture and accessories at this wonderful event.

The highlight of the Original Round Top Antique week is the collection of Americana antiques at the big Red Barn. Throughout the 30,000 square foot beautiful Barn and the nearby Big Red Barn Tent, visitors will discover a wide selection of stunning antiques. Make sure to make room in your suitcase for all the classic trinkets you will find at the Round Top Antique week!

The Continental Tent offers high quality items from England, France, Italy, Spain, and other European countries, big and small. For all European furniture lovers, this is the place to start! Just down the road from the Big Red Barn, in Carmine, Texas, shoppers will find a hidden gem, the Carmine Dance Hall. The striking Hall has been part of the Round Top Antiques Fair from the event’s beginning. If you are looking for a great place to grab a bite to eat, swing by and enjoy some award-winning BBQ at the Hall.

The 47th Annual Fall Antiques Fair begins October 1st and continues daily until October 4th. The Fall Fair is located at all four of the events sites and tickets can be purchased at any one of them. Tickets for the Spring and Fall Shows, which are 10$, cover all four locations for the entire week! For a map of The Original Round Top Antique week venue, click here!

If you find an exquisite piece of furniture and have no way of transporting it to your car or home, don’t worry! The Event has porters available to carry items to the car and shippers on site to handle large items, making your shopping experience so much more relaxing. In addition, all the buildings and tents are air-conditioned, allowing you to enjoy the event without enduring the heat of Texas! Shoppers don’t have to worry about parking either because free parking is available at each Fair location.

As you are planning your Round Top Antique week, don’t forget to book a room at the Murski Homestead. This B&B offers the perfect way to experience the Texas countryside yet still be close enough to enjoy your Round Top Antique Week events. Murski Homestead will also provide a delicious breakfast before you depart for a full day of shopping. Be sure to book your room at Murski Homestead early before it fills up!
