While Round Top, Texas is a tiny little town boasting a population of less than one hundred people, it also happens to host one of the largest antique shows in the county in the Round Top Antique Show. Coming this winter, the first show of three in 2015 is the Round Top Antique Show, which will be going on January 23rd and 24th.

About the Round Top Antique Show

The Round Top Antique Show was created in 1968 and offers three shows a year where you can come to find the finest antiques in the country. The Winter Round Top Antique Show 2015 is hosted in the big red barn on the premises. In this 30,000 square foot barn, you can only imagine the amount and variety of quality antiques you will be able to find. The show has a $5 admission fee at the door, with children entering for free. The cost is well worth it when you consider all the great finds you can come across while you’re there.

What You Can Find

As evidenced by the photographs in the Round Top Antique Show gallery, you can find all sorts of antiques at the show. You can find a wide variety of home fixtures, such as beautiful antique rugs, unique old time silverware, china and mugs, classic furniture, and unique antique lamps. In addition to this, you can also find a variety of traditional Texas antiques. In past shows, this has included boot spurs, military uniforms, flags, and cowboy hats. Although there is no guarantee of what types of antiques you may find, that’s part of the joy of attending an antique show. Just the opportunity to browse through a barn of seemingly endless antiques is worth the price of admission.
