Round Top Antiques fairs shoppers, this is it . . .
The BIG Show Week is Here!

The second weekend of the Round Top Antiques Fair has officially come to a close. Next week the last of the shows, some of the biggest and most exclusive shows of the Round Top Antiques Fairs, will open for the first time during this Fall 2014 AntiqueWeekend event. And, as fast as they open, they will close. Just a week from now, the Fall 2014 AntiqueWeekend shows and events will all be over. Done. Finished. Gone.

This NEXT week is the BIGGEST week of

the FALL 2014 Round Top Antiques Fairs AntiqueWeekend event.

Tuesday, September 30th

Marburger Farm opened for early buyers today from 10:00am to 2:00pm at a premium admission price of $25. One of the largest, self-contained, show sites Marburger Farm has it’s own parking, ten tents, and a dozen building for more than 350 dealers on 43 acres. After Tuesday they will open at 10:00am each day and close at 5:00pm, except Saturday when they will close at 4:00pm. Admission will be $10 per person and includes parking.

In addition to Marburger Farm, more than 50 other free show sites will be open.

Wednesday, October 1st

More shows open at 9:00am Wednesday, including The Original Round Top Antique Fair, Big Red Barn, Carmine Dance Hall, and the Folk Art Fair. Wednesday is the first day of the 2013 Fall AntiqueWeekend that all the show sites and fields will be open.

Thursday, October 2nd

Every show site and field everywhere will be open on Thursday.

Thursday night is also the world famous JUnk-o-RAMa Prom, an event that shouldn’t be missed! Show up at the Junk Gypsies tent at the Zapp Hall Antique Show in your wildest Junk Gypsy prom dress – and hat – and dance the night away to live music.

Friday, October 3rd

Every show site and field everywhere will be open – this is after all AntiqueWeekend !

Saturday, October 4th

The last day for about half the show sites. Come early, stay late.

Sunday, October 5th

This is the final day for all show sites and fields. Despite this being an “open for business” day it’s not unusual to find many dealers packing and leaving early in the day. It will have been a long two plus weeks for many of them and they’ll be ready to go home or move on to their next destination.

The half-dozen shows that are opening during the coming week, will also close at the end of the day Saturday, October 4. Yes, many show sites and fields will be here, and be open on Sunday, October 5, but the biggest days of the show will be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, October 2, 3 & 4.

Other show sites stay open after dark and are easy to find (they will be the ones with the lights on).

LOOK . . . It’s the Junk Gypsy World Headquarters!

Popular local favorites, The Junk Gypsy Company has just opened their World Headquarters right here in Round Top, Texas. Yee Haw! What fun, and it will be open year-around too! Just can’t get enough.

Just a short run south of the center of Round Top (towards Warrenton) they can be found on SH-237 on the east side of the road. Last weekend they generated quite a traffic jam. We expect that to continue all week – who cares, this is a big deal, come see for yourself.
